Brigadeiros are the most popular candy in Brasil. They are made mostly for birthday parties and Christmas. I also choose to have them every now and then for a nice pick me up. They are, by far, my favorite chocolates.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of Nestle Quick
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- I small package of chocolate Sprinkles
Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium-medium low heat, combine Nestle Quick, butter, and condensed milk. Stir the whole time while cooking. Don’t stop. Cook until thickened, about 10-15 minutes. (It is ready when the mixture doesn’t stick to the bottom when the pan is tilted.)
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture in a lightly greased dish. Cool to room temperature or put in the fridge for a little bit.
- Grease your hands with margarine to roll the mixture into little balls (about 1.5 inches).
- Roll the balls into chocolate sprinkles (or as J would call them, Rat Poop).
- Put into mini cupcake paper.
It makes about 40 candies. I challenge you to find a better tasting, easy to make, homemade chocolate. Go make them, and then, come back here and let me know what you thought. I will accept $1 donations for making your life a little better with this Tipster Tuesday.

Now this recipe can be a tad bit messy to eat (don’t say I didn’t warn ya), but it’s totally worth it. I mean, you’ve got chocolate- good. Peanut butter- good. Together- good. And it’s a lot cheaper than buying the real stuff.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Margarine
- 1.5 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1 cup Peanut Butter (I use the crunchy kind.)
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
- Melt butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, and powdered sugar.
- Spread mixture onto a dish (I use a 9×9 clear baking dish).
- Melt chocolate chips in microwave.
- Pour chocolate over peanut butter.
- Put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Then cut into squares. Don’t wait longer than 30 minutes or it’ll be hard to cut.

J loves Red Lobster. But we only eat out at nice restaurants for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, etc). J keeps dropping hints to go to Red Lobster during the Endless Shrimp. I, however, am not such a fan of seafood. But I do love RL biscuits. So, thank you “Cum, Vella Essa!” (my family’s Amish cookbook) for supplying me with a recipe for the biscuits. They’re de-lish!

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
Directions:
- Mix Bisquick, milk, an cheese into a soft dough.
- Drop on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
- Brush with combination of melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian Seasoning.

I’m not a very crafty person, so that’s why you can know that this project is very easy. Plus, I’m a cheapo, so you know this didn’t break the bank. In fact, it saved me $98 from not buying them online– no joke! And I was proud of myself for making the letters below for my DD’s nursery, with the help of my very good friend Tiffany.

Here’s what you need (I got all of these items from Hobby Lobby):
- Wooden Letters. The ones I found were already painted white.
- Mod Podge
- Sponge/Foam Brushes
- Scissors
- Scrapbook Paper– or any construction paper. I got four 12x12in paper.
Here’s how to do it yourself:
- Trace the wooden letters onto your scrapbook paper. I could fit 2 letters on a page.
- Cut these paper letters out. We cut them shorter than the tracing so that there would be a white outline on the letters.
- Apply a coat of Mod Podge to a wooden letter. Try to make sure there are no bubbles or big globs.
- Cover with the patterned (or solid) paper. Smooth it out so that you can’t see any gaps or bubbles between the letter and paper.
- Apply a few coats of Mod Podge on top of the patterned paper, drying between coats
Quick, easy, and inexpensive. Leave me a comment, if you would like for me to make you some.
Here are some other ones I’ve made:
